J.B. Martin Athletics

J.B. Martin Middle School offers a robust athletics program that provides students with the opportunity to represent their school in the community, learn teamwork, good sportsmanship, and advance their personal athletic interests.  Our athletics program and student athletes help to create school pride and give all students an opportunity to support the school and each other.

Students of J.B. Martin who meet the criteria have an opportunity to compete in more than 6 different sports throughout the school year.  These sports include: football, volleyball, boys & girls basketball, boys & girls track, boys & girls soccer, softball, and baseball.

J.B. Martin Athletics

All J.B. Martin Athletic programs require students to get a Physical Examination by a Medical Professional. Physicals are good for one calendar year from the date of the examination. To try out for any sports, students must sign up for tryouts 2 weeks prior to the tryout date. Additionally, the student must have a physical turned into the office no later than one week prior to the try out date. If a student does not sign up to try out and does not turn in a physical by the deadline, they will not be allowed to try out for the sport. This procedure has been put in place for the safety of all students. Please see below for the proper documentation that needs to be completed by your health care provider.
