Mr. Steven Guitterrez

My career in education began in 1998 as a science teacher and coach. I am a graduate of the University of New Orleans where I received a Bachelors Degree in Education and Masters in Educational Leadership. Through the years, I have taught 7th-12th grades science, math, and physical education classes and coached various sports. My career with St. Charles Parish Schools started at Albert Cammon Middle School where I served as a 7th grade science and math teacher. I have been blessed with being able to serve as an administrative assistant at Norco 4-6 Elementary, and then as principal at Norco K-3 Elementary, Harry Hurst Middle School, and currently at J. B. Martin Middle School. As principal, I am able to serve a great group of students and families who value hard work and taking advantage of the educational opportunities that presented to them by a strong, knowledgeable faculty. J. B. Martin Middle School is a great place and it is with great pleasure that I am able to serve the JBM family.
