Mr. Chase Petit

I have taught in St. Charles Parish for six years at R.K. Smith Middle School as a 7th grade ELA teacher after earning my Bachelor’s Degree in secondary education with a concentration in English literature from Louisiana State University. During my time at R.K. Smith, I attended Southeastern Louisiana University, where I earned my Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership. I currently serve as the 8th-grade Assistant Principal at JB Martin Middle School, where my responsibilities include Safe Schools coordinator, school testing coordinator, and custodial matters.

I strive to ensure that all students at JB Martin can learn in a physically and psychologically safe environment, providing a restorative mindset with opportunities for learning and growth, to indulge my passion for leadership every day at JB Martin through service opportunities for and with my community and fellow administrators.

I am blessed to be a part of this community, and I feel grateful to be a JBM Cougar!
